A Response to AMR-related Challenges in Côte d’Ivoire

Professor Nathalie Guessennd, Head of the National Reference Center for Antibiotics, presents Côte d’Ivoire’s experience to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR), from going through WHO’s Joint External Evaluation to using WHO’s benchmarks to strengthen the country’s response to AMR. This presentation was given during a 2021 Global Science and Practice Technical Exchange session titled “Using Global Health Security Tools to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance” on April 21, 2021. USAID MTaPS is supporting the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire to combat AMR in the country.
