MTaPS to Contribute to Dialogue at the Disease Prevention and Control Summit

The USAID MTaPS Program will present MTaPS work at the Disease Prevention and Control Summit in Maryland, United States, from September 7-8, 2022. The event aims to provide a platform for health professionals and other actors with a stake in disease prevention and control to hold dialogue on vaccines, diagnostics, therapeutics, One Health, funding, contact tracing, and technology. Convening experts from the Center for Disease Control, the US Food and Drug Administration, and representation from government and multiple sectors, the conference will address some of the most critical questions about infectious diseases, the development of vaccines and medicines, outbreak prevention and pandemic preparedness, and technological advances in health. The summit will be held alongside the World Antimicrobial Resistance Congress at the same location.
